Week 4 Achievements:

  • Practiced deploying AWS Storage Gateway and connecting on-prem systems to S3 via file shares.

  • Built Amazon FSx for Windows file systems, tested performance, enabled data services (dedup, shadow copies), and managed scaling.

  • Configured Amazon S3 for static website hosting, CloudFront acceleration, versioning, and cross-Region replication.

  • Reviewed and practiced AWS security fundamentals: IAM, Cognito, Organizations, Identity Center, KMS.

  • Enabled and analyzed findings in AWS Security Hub to assess account security posture.

  • Strengthened overall skills in cloud storage, file sharing, web hosting, identity management, and security monitoring.
